A cable-suspended 68 ft. long assembly of silvery, perforated metal panels with low-voltage lights was proposed for the entry hall of the ADL. The wing-like metal structure creates a multidimensional effect. Lighting from the front brings out its sculptural, three-dimensional quality, while lighting of its background creates a two-dimensional, graphic effect for the viewer passing underneath.
