In order to achieve this objective, some of the light sources are hidden from view. For instance,a central structure, an abstract representation of a garden pergola, is used for this purpose. Its irregularly spaced beams discretely bear fluorescent up-lights – the main source of the store’s ambient lighting. Additionally, the free-standing merchandise displays, located at the store’s center, are accentuated by low-voltage spotlights that are also integrated into the pergola’s structure. The graphics on the perimeter walls are highlighted by recessed lights concealed just above the perimeter’s fluorescent cove.
